Saguaro

The mural is composed of three glazed speckled stoneware tiles using the Cuerda Seca technique.

"This piece is different from the raised line style. Cuerda Seca involves using wax resist to separate the glazes, preventing them from becoming muddled. I like how loose it looks, and the color palette turned out great."
